Bryston

Trade press reported in February 2021 that former Bryston VP James Tanner and Colquhoun Audio Laboratories Ltd, a private company founded and led by Ian Colquhoun, acquired Bryston, and a 2023 report on Colquhoun's purchase of Magnum Dynalab confirms it still owns both Axiom Audio and Bryston. Both owners are Canadian and no foreign investor was named in any source. Corporations Canada's search tool is a JavaScript application this session could not query without a corporation number, and the Ontario Business Registry's site refused the TLS connection outright, so this rests on press reporting rather than a registry filing.

Bryston's own site and Axiom Audio's corporate information page both list the same Highway 60, Dwight, Ontario head office, and the 2023 press report on the Magnum Dynalab deal describes manufacturing, sales, and service for all three Colquhoun Audio Laboratories brands as consolidated at that one compound. No separate Bryston office, plant, or overseas staff turned up in any source checked.
