Collective Arts Limited is a federally incorporated Hamilton, Ontario craft brewery and distillery founded in 2013 by Matt Johnston and Bob Russell, with a second brewery in Cambridge and a taproom in Toronto. Corporations Canada's register of individuals with significant control, confirmed in May and June 2026, still lists the two founders and Tom Enns after the 2024 to 2025 restructuring; the cannabis brand Collective Project was sold to Organigram in April 2025 but the beverage company was not. No grocer was confirmed: the chain sites blocked every fetch and press naming Whole Foods, Sobeys and Fortinos for the Botany line was not used.

The site's privacy and terms pages name Collective Arts Limited as the operating entity, and Corporations Canada shows it as an active CBCA corporation (837946-7, registered office 207 Burlington Street East, Hamilton) with its register of individuals with significant control last confirmed 2026-05-29: Robert Russell, Matthew Johnston and Tom Enns, each with control in fact, and no other person or corporation listed; the affiliate Collective Arts Brewing Limited (1065780-8) lists the same three as of 2026-06-29. Russell's address on the parent's register is Morrisville, Vermont, so one of three controlling individuals is allocated to US as an estimate; the registry does not name the shareholders behind the three, and certificates of amendment dated 2024-08-02, 2025-06-16 and 2026-02-03 are consistent with the restructuring but their contents were not fetched. Collective Arts is absent from the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy's CCAA records list for 2021 to present, so the creditor protection was likely a BIA proposal rather than a CCAA proceeding; Organigram's April 2025 press release and December 2025 annual information form show it bought Collective Project Limited, the cannabis beverage brand launched by Collective Arts Limited, not the brewery. The vendor's pages describe the brewery, taproom and retail store at 207 Burlington Street East in Hamilton, a second brewery in Cambridge, Ontario where the small-batch Art Reserve beers are brewed, and a May 2025 post saying more than 100 Canadians work in its production and packaging facilities. Gin is made in small batches with a house-made botanical blend, and Wikipedia records Collective Arts Distilling launching its gins in 2019. The one exception on the spirits page is the Maple Syrup Barrel-Aged Rum, a four-year-old Venezuelan dark rum finished in Hamilton, and the rye is an aged whisky whose distillery is not named, so a small OTHER share is an estimate for the imported rum base; the CANADA List and madeinca.ca corroborate Hamilton production.
