Corporations Canada confirms Forty Creek Distillery Ltd. (913040-3) as an active federal corporation formed by a 2015 amalgamation with Wray & Nephew Canada Limited, another Campari subsidiary, with two of its three directors at Campari America's New York address and no individual with significant control, which is consistent with a listed parent. Campari Group is headquartered in Sesto San Giovanni near Milan, listed on Euronext Milan and controlled by the Garavoglia family's Lagfin SCA of Luxembourg, all within the EU bucket; the annual report on camparigroup.com that would list the subsidiary was blocked by the site's bot filter, so the Campari holding rests on the vendor's statements and press rather than a filing.

The vendor presents the Grimsby distillery at 297 South Service Road as the place its whiskies are distilled, aged and blended, offers same-day order pickup there, and its emeritus master blender told the Toronto Whisky Society in 2021 that the 2014 sale did not change the process and that the Niagara region remains at the heart of it. The LCBO lists Forty Creek Copper Bold as an Ontario spirit, and The CANADA List and madeinca.ca both record manufacturing, blending and aging in Ontario. The whiskies are made from rye, barley and corn and the cream liqueurs from dairy cream; the vendor does not say where the grain is grown, though The CANADA List records it as primarily Canadian and Canadian dairy is supply managed, so most raw material is placed in Canada.
