The amalgamation also replaced Genfoot's Cook family board with a new slate of directors. We could not confirm the acquiring firm's name through press coverage since search was unavailable, but the registry places control in Toronto, so ownership stays fully Canadian.

The filing does not break the 34 percent down by country, so we split it across the US, EU, and Asia using the company's careers page, which lists a Vermont, USA site and a Germany office alongside Montreal, weighted toward Asia given the filing's focus on Chinese factories; that sub-split is our estimate.

Corporations Canada places the registered office and board at Lachine, a Montreal borough, and the company's own site metadata reports 400 employees there, so we assume most staff sit at the Quebec head office and factory with smaller sites elsewhere; the country split beyond Canada is our estimate.

Its online store runs on Shopify, a Canadian platform, which is a small offsetting factor. This mix is our estimate in the absence of any vendor statement on material sourcing.
