Two trade press reports say the Ontario Superior Court of Justice approved the CCAA sale of substantially all MAV Beauty Brands assets and subsidiaries, including Marc Anthony True Professional, to an affiliate of Los Angeles based Nexus Capital Management in November 2023, and the TSX delisted the shares on December 21, 2023; the vendor's privacy page still names Marc Anthony Cosmetics Ltd as a MAV Beauty company, and The CANADA List and madeinca.ca both record the US owner. Corporations Canada returns zero results for MAV Beauty Brands and Marc Anthony Cosmetics, so these are Ontario corporations; the Ontario Business Registry, SEDAR+ and the court monitor's site could not be reached, and EDGAR has no filing naming either company, so the sale is press reported rather than registry verified.

The vendor does not say where the products are made; the site, product pages and Well.ca listings carry no country of origin. The CANADA List records manufacturing in Canada and madeinca.ca names London, Ontario, consistent with contract manufacturing in Ontario, but MAV has historically also used US contract manufacturers for its other brands, so a small US share is an estimate.

The contact page gives a single office at 100 New Park Place, Vaughan, Ontario, and The CANADA List says MAV remains headquartered there. Some brand and sales staff for the US market and the private equity owner sit in the United States, so the split is an estimate.

The vendor only says it travels the world for ingredients and discloses no supplier origin. Mass-market surfactants, silicones, fragrance and argan and coconut oils are assumed mostly imported with some Canadian and US packaging, so the split is an estimate. The site runs on Shopify but does not sell direct, and the products move through many Canadian retailers, so there is no single platform dependence.
