The vendor's own Terms of Use states the website 'is operated by Native Canada Footwear Ltd.', which matches an active BC-registered company (OrgBook BC, registration BC0976780, business number 851022855); OrgBook carries no shareholder or significant-control data, so the registration confirms the entity exists but not who controls it. Corporations Canada's federal registry search returned zero results for both 'Native Shoes' and 'Native Canada Footwear' (no federal incorporation, so no ISC significant-control register applies), and OrgBook's index likewise had no other match, so registry sources cannot verify ownership here. Trade press (the-spin-off.com, 2013) reports the brand was acquired by Vancouver-based co-founder Scott Hawthorn together with 'a small group of private investors' who are not named or located; a 2021 SGB Media report on Hawthorn's move to executive chairman still describes him as 'Co-owner and CEO'. Tracxn's company database lists no institutional funding rounds or named investors, consistent with a closely held, founder-led company rather than one diluted by outside capital. No source names the other private investors or states their country, so full cap-table confirmation isn't possible, but every source identifying a controlling owner places that person in Canada.

The vendor's own FAQ states it is currently working with factories in China and Vietnam to produce all the shoes in its collection, with no manufacturing in Canada disclosed anywhere on the site. LinkedIn lists Native Shoes' only office as its Vancouver, BC head office, with 51 to 200 employees and no other location disclosed, and the vendor's own FAQ says the brand was founded and is currently headquartered in Vancouver. No design studio, warehouse, or office outside Canada was found.

The vendor does not disclose where its EVA and other shoe materials are sourced; with assembly concentrated in China and Vietnam, the materials are assumed to be sourced largely from the same region. The storefront itself runs on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, a US platform, visible in the site's own asset paths, so a small share is allocated to that US platform dependence. Both figures are estimates.
