In Canada it is imported and distributed by Beiersdorf Canada Inc. of Saint-Laurent, Quebec, a wholly owned subsidiary of about 80 staff that manufactures nothing here; the product comes from Beiersdorf plants in Germany, Poland, Spain and Silao, Mexico, plus some finished goods bought from the United States.

Beiersdorf Canada's 2025 Supply Chains Act report states that it does not manufacture the goods it imports, that Beiersdorf makes the finished products it sells, and that it also buys certain finished products from the United States. Beiersdorf's own affiliate list names consumer plants in Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Poznan, Tres Cantos, Argentona, Silao and Cleveland, Tennessee, and its Mexico careers page says the Silao plant makes Nivea, Eucerin and Labello. The split between European plants, Silao and US supply is an estimate; Beiersdorf publishes no country of origin by product for the Canadian range, and no retailer product page loaded to read a label.

Beiersdorf Canada employs just over 80 people, most of them at the Saint-Laurent head office in marketing, sales, finance, regulatory and logistics, with sales staff across the country and some marketing staff in Ontario, per its Supply Chains Act report and careers page. The brand itself is run from Hamburg and made by plant workers in Europe and Mexico, so the Canadian office is credited with half and the rest is an estimate spread over the German head office and the Silao and European plants.

Procurement is centralized in Hamburg for the whole group, which buys raw and packaging materials from about 21,000 suppliers in more than 100 countries, Canada among them, per the Supply Chains Act report; no sourcing breakdown for Nivea is published. Emollients, surfactants, fragrance and plastic packaging for a German-formulated product made in Europe and Mexico are plausibly bought mostly in Europe and globally, with a small US and Canadian share, and the split is an estimate.
