OrgBook BC separately shows an active BC company of the same name (BC0372084, registered 1989), and the vendor's own timeline and a 2009 Canadian Business Journal profile credit Kazuko Komatsu as sole owner from 1991, so control has stayed within one Canadian-resident family. The registry gives the controlling individual's residence but not citizenship, and BC's registry does not expose the shareholders of the older provincial entity.
