Pinty's

Pinty's own privacy policy names Olymel L.P. as the controlling entity, and Olymel's November 2018 press release confirms it closed the acquisition of all shares of Pinty's Delicious Foods Inc. Olymel's majority shareholder is Sollio Cooperative Group (formerly La Coop fédérée), a Quebec-based cooperative owned by about 108,000 Canadian farmer-members. Corporations Canada's federal registry has no record for Pinty's Delicious Foods Inc., consistent with an Ontario provincial incorporation, which could not be checked directly.

At acquisition Pinty's operated three Ontario plants: Port Colborne, Paris, and Oakville (Burlington is the head office, not a plant). Olymel closed the Paris plant in December 2023 and expanded the Oakville poultry further-processing plant to absorb its volume, so production now runs from Port Colborne and Oakville, both Ontario.

Pinty's is headquartered in Burlington, Ontario, and its plant workforce (360 employees at acquisition, since consolidated) is in Port Colborne and Oakville, Ontario. Parent Olymel is also headquartered in Canada (Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec).

Chicken is the dominant input and is Canadian: Olymel's acquisition release says Pinty's would keep honouring its supply agreements under Ontario's supply-managed poultry system and that Olymel worked with the Chicken Farmers of Ontario on the transition. Breading, seasonings, and packaging for the wider product line are not documented and are estimated as partly imported.
