The vendor's About page says the distillery, founded by Comox Valley farmer Patrick Evans, is today owned by Nelson Investments, described as a Vancouver Island company; madeinca.ca and the CANADA List repeat Canadian ownership. OrgBook BC lists both Shelter Point Distillery Corporation (BC0862621) and Nelson Investments Inc. (BC0769435) as active BC corporations, but the BC registry does not publish shareholders, so the link between the two is the vendor's statement only. Corporations Canada returned zero results, consistent with a provincial corporation.

The vendor says the whisky is distilled, matured and bottled at the Campbell River distillery built in 2011, and the Campbell River Mirror quotes the general manager on whisky being distilled and bottled there. No contract or offshore production was found.

Single-site business at 4692 Regent Road, Campbell River, BC, where the distillery, tasting room, tours and store all operate; the named management team is based there. No LinkedIn or careers page could be checked, so the headcount is unconfirmed.

Barley is BC-grown, partly on the estate, and water comes from the site aquifer; casks are selected from around the world, with the vendor naming bourbon barrels and virgin American oak, and the stills are Forsyths from Scotland. The split is an estimate weighted to the Canadian grain and water; bottle and packaging sourcing was not found. The direct storefront runs on Lightspeed, a Canadian platform.
