Sapporo Breweries lists Sleeman Breweries Ltd. as a group company, Sleeman's own statutory supply-chain report says Sapporo acquired it in 2006, and CBC reported the $400 million all-cash takeover at the time, so profit goes to a Japanese parent. Corporations Canada shows the entity active (1361911-7) with Sapporo executives among its directors but does not list shareholders, and Sapporo Holdings' securities report could not be fetched, so the parent's own group list is the best source used.
