The FAQ says the company is proudly Canadian and the About page presents co-founders Laura and Mike as still running it, with no sign of an outside investor or parent. Corporations Canada returned zero results for tealish, so the entity is presumably an Ontario or BC corporation; the Ontario Business Registry and BC Registry could not be checked, and the terms page names only the trade name Tealish Fine Teas at 367 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto.

No page says where the blends are mixed. The site says orders are hand packed to order and ship from Vancouver, British Columbia, the 2019 site described the Roncesvalles store as the creative hub and head office, and Amazon.ca lists the country of origin as Canada, all of which point to in-house blending and packing in Canada. The 0.8 split is an estimate that leaves room for some flavoured blends arriving pre-blended from overseas suppliers, which small tea brands commonly do.

The legal address in the terms and privacy pages is 367 Roncesvalles Ave in Toronto, the founders are based in Canada, and fulfilment runs from Vancouver. A small direct to consumer tea business with no careers page has no reason to employ anyone outside Canada; LinkedIn could not be checked.

The FAQ says green teas come from China and Japan, black teas from India and Sri Lanka, rooibos from Africa and yerba mate from South America, and tea is not grown in Canada, so the leaf is almost entirely OTHER. The small CA and EU shares are an estimate for packaging, the Shopify storefront, and European sourced herbs such as peppermint and chamomile, none of which the vendor itemizes.
