Corporations Canada shows Unibroue Inc. amalgamated into Sleeman Unibroue Inc. in 2005 and that entity into Sleeman Breweries Ltd. in 2014, and the active Sleeman entity is exempt from the significant-control register as a wholly owned subsidiary of a listed company. Sapporo Breweries lists Sleeman Breweries Ltd. as a group company, Unibroue's own story page says Sapporo acquired Sleeman-Unibroue in 2006, and CBC reported the $400 million takeover, so profit goes to a Japanese parent. The registry does not name Sapporo and the Sapporo Holdings securities report was not fetched, so the parent's group list is the best source used.

Unibroue says its factory has been in Chambly since 1993 and that the Chambly site produces its beers, and Sleeman lists Chambly as the Unibroue brewery among its Canadian plants. The CANADA List corroborates that export volumes are also brewed in Chambly.

Unibroue's registered office and brewery are at 80 rue des Carrières in Chambly, and the vendor says its team is about a hundred employees at that site. Careers are posted through Sleeman's Workday portal, and the parent's management sits in Guelph and Tokyo, but the brand's own workforce is in Quebec.

Sleeman's supply-chain report says malted barley, corn syrup, glass bottles and aluminum cans are sourced across Canada, the United States and Europe, and the CANADA List says Unibroue uses Quebec-grown wheat where possible. Unibroue publishes no sourcing breakdown for its Belgian-style spices and yeast, so the split is an estimate weighted to Canadian grain and packaging with a European share for the Belgian-tradition inputs. Sales run through provincial liquor and grocery channels rather than a US-controlled platform.
